One of the BEST perks of being a beauty blogger is that I get to be among the first to try out the latest and greatest skincare and anti-aging treatments, and being 40+ this excites me to no end! Luckily, Syneron invited me to experience eMatrix and offered 3 treatments for potential review on my blog. They paired me a fabulous Los Angeles based dermatologist, Dr. Heather J. Roberts. At the beginning of my first treatment session, Dr. Roberts and I hit it off immediately (prob cause we are both obsessed with aesthetics 🙂 She was super nice, bright, knowledgeable, a seasoned pro and extremely thorough and detail oriented, gotta love that in a derm!
FYI: Dr. Roberts makes a point of having a pre-treatment phone call with every new patient before a new procedure. She spent about 15 minutes on the phone with me prior to my first appointment, to explain the procedure, prep me and see if I had any questions, I LOVED this personal touch! I arrived for my first appointment ready, prepared and comfortable with my doctor and procedure details.
To date, I have had 2 out of 3 eMatrix treatments and I am very impressed with the noticeable results as well as ease of the procedure and minimal downtime. Since having these two treatments, I have noticed that my skin is much smoother, more even toned (it has gotten rid of some of pigmentation) and just brighter overall. After I have had my third and final treatment, I am going to write another blog post about my experience with Syneron’s Sublative Rejuvenation; I will share the procedure details, pain/discomfort (there is minimal), home care, how long it took to heal, aftercare, reactions to my results and most importantly share my before and after pictures.
