After all these years of hearing positive buzz about Jenny Craig, I finally had the opportunity to try the program and I can honestly tell you that I am really enjoying it. I was pleasantly surprised by how easy and simple it is to follow, how tasty the food is and how much I love the one on one private weekly consultation session which allows you to discuss your individual challenges along the way.
Other things I really like about this program are: That you can incorporate delicious fresh seasonal produce into every meal, the Anytime Bars are my yummy daily dose of vitamins, you get a sweet or savory snack/treat everyday, and lastly you get 2 ‘My Days’ every week if you would like to, which means that you follow the program guidelines but choose and eat your own food.
Here’s a fun video that I just made capturing my early thoughts about this enduring weight loss program. Enjoy and stay tuned for more updates soon!
Disclosure: Jenny Craig has compensated me with their program, one-on-one counseling and tasty food, however all opinions and shrinking waistline are my own. Clients following the Jenny Craig program, on average, lose 1-2 lbs per week.

Just before Memorial Day Weekend, Best Filet Mignon delivered a swoon-worthy care package filled with an assortment of their top-notch Filets along with a sneak peek of their new New York and Ribeye Steaks (which are not available yet) You see, Best Filet Mignon got wind that I was visiting my Dad in Palm Springs, who just so happens to be an ex-butcher and a meat connoisseur. They wanted us to sample their steaks and get input from this savvy meat critic (aka my Dad), and I was more than happy to oblige. We packed up the steaks (which come in a clever, classy grill inspired box) along with a luscious bottle of Cab and headed to the desert for a serious carnivore BBQ!
Happy Wine Wednesday Oenophiles! Gotta love when someone is thinking about us wine luvahs and our needs. Case in point: You are entertaining and you have a gorgeous bottle of buttery Chardonnay that you want to leisurely sip on your patio, but it’s really hot outside, you don’t have an ice bucket, and if you leave your wine outside without putting it back in the fridge it gets warm and tastes awful. Oh yeah, and you also want to stay outside and enjoy your guests and the beautiful day! Guess what? I have found the perfect solution to this annoying wine dilemma, allow me to introduce you to: Corkcicle ($24.95)
