What is your biggest beauty concern? What is that one feature on your face or body that you wish you could change? For me, my under eye dark circles/puffiness drives me nuts and it has only gotten worse as I have gotten older. My circles are worse in the morning or when I haven’t gotten enough sleep, so I am constantly in search of a fabulous concealer to mask and camouflage this bane of my existence. It is tough to find one that really covers my flaws and over the years I have found that some are too dry, some too sheer, some too moist, some get cakey and some just don’t last. So when I find a concealer that ‘WOWS’ it is like striking gold! Following are 6 concealers that I am currently smitten with:
Benefit Cosmetics Fake Up Concealer ($24)
I am continually impressed with the clever products created by Benefit Cosmetics and this new concealer is no exception. Fake Up is a fabulous moisturizing crease-controlling concealer with vitamin E and apple seed extract. It comes in 3 shades, hides dark circles and diffuses fine lines, it stays hydrated for up to six hours and won’t cake, crease, or settle into fine lines. I think it’s inspired that the moisturizer surrounds the concealer for super easy application as well as giving it the perfect amount of extended hydration. I really like the lightweight, silky texture, however I am most impressed by the natural looking, yet great coverage of my dark circles.

Napoleon Perdis The One Cream Concealer ($29)
Napoleon Perdis is a an icon in the makeup industry and it comes as no surprise that he recently created one amazing concealer that does it all. The One Concealer hides dark circles, evens out redness, covers blemishes and conceals pigmentation. However, what makes this concealer so innovative and unique is that it has a proprietary formula that automatically syncs with your (and almost every) skin tone which is why the concealer comes in only ONE skin-flattering peach/nude shade. I was skeptical at first, but was then blown away when I saw it in action. After you warm the product a bit and gently pat it under your eyes, the color transforms to your exact match giving you full long lasting professional quality coverage. It’s a total ‘WOW’ and I’m obsessed with it!

NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer ($30)
This new concealer from NARS is getting rave reviews from the pro’s! NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer is a lightweight, hydrating, buildable coverage concealer that contains multi-action skincare benefits and light-diffusing technology to illuminate your eye area. This swoon worthy concealer smooths out fine lines and instantly blurs imperfections and signs of fatigue. This fab little antioxidant filled primer contains a patented anti-wrinkle power ingredient that has been proven to noticeably reduce wrinkles and plump up the fine lines on your eye lid. This amazing product conceals the flaws on your eyelid, smooths it out, brightens and lifts and provides a great anchor for your eye makeup products. LOVE!

Veil Complexion Fix ($40)
Last but certainly not least, is the Illuminating Complexion Fix by Veil Cosmetics. This exciting multi-tasking product is a fusion of a concealer and a skin treatment all in one. The magic behind this concealer is a proprietary Lightfast Technology, which is an illuminating, hydrating compound that is texturally weightless and virtually imperceptible on the skin.
