GIVEAWAY: Control Frizz & Color Fade this Summer with Aloxxi Essential 7 Oil Haircare Products (5 Winners – $128 Value)

How has your summer been going so far? Mine has been a whirlwind of personal and business travel (hence the lack of regular posting lately) but I am staying put for a while and couldn’t be happier about it! My summer travels took me to the East Coast a couple of times and with that comes the frizz inducing humidity, and my slightly wavy frizz-prone hair was NOT a fan of it. But luckily, I was armed with Aloxxi’s fab new Essential 7 Oil Haircare Products, which totally saved my hair during all this thick tropical yucky weather. I’m excited to tell you more about these awesome new products and what I love about them, and am even more thrilled to give some of them away to you!

The Essential 7 Oil Cleansing Oil Shampoo with ColourCare Complex & Essential 7 Botanic Blend is a nourishing oil cleanser that thoroughly cleanses your hair while at the same time restoring vital moisture and elasticity to your hair. All of Aloxxi’s products contain their ColourCare Complex, which is a proprietary blend of 10 anti-oxidant extracts that block UV rays and help protect your hair color from fading. What I love about this shampoo is that it smells divine (kind of floral and tropical), it produces a gorgeous but super hydrating lather and it makes your hair smoother, silky and manageable. It feels more like a treatment shampoo rather than just a hair cleanser.

The Essential 7 Oil Treatment Conditioner is a nourishing conditioner that restores vital moisture and elasticity to dry hair. This yummy conditioner provides intense hydration and tames frizz, making your hair smoother and more manageable. I love how this conditioner works synergistically with the shampoo making my hair smoother, softer and smelling divine.

The Essential 7 Oil Leave-In Conditioning Cream is a weightless leave-in conditioning cream that helps to detangle and restore hydration and elasticity to your hair. I think this leave-in cream is the secret sauce in the line. This innovative cream effectively blocks humidity, reduces static and tames frizz, leaving your hair smoother in sticky humid climates. I notice that when I skip this leave-in cream step, my hair seems to be more prone to getting frizzy. It really helps!

The Essential 7 Oil Restorative Hair Serum is a lightweight, versatile serum that makes color-treated hair softer and shinier and protects it from fading. You can use this serum as a conditioning, styling and finishing tool, to reduces styling time by strengthening the hair, detangling and improving manageability. I love how lightweight and instantly absorbing this serum is – it makes my fine texture hair soft and shiny, without feeling greasy or weighted down.

The Essential 7 Oil Dry Oil Shine Mist is a dry oil hair mist that creates a high shine finish and tames frizz and flyaways while nourishing and rejuvenating dull, dry hair. This extra-fine mist absorbs instantly and illuminates color without interfering with the hold of hairspray. I love how fine this mist is and that it gives my hair that extra pop of radiance. It’s also great to refresh your hairstyle the next day without having to restyle it.

Here’s an example of how fab my hair looks after using these fab new Aloxxi Essential 7 Oil products and after freshening my Aloxxi Dimensions red color (which is a highlight color that lifts and deposits color at the same time) This fab color combo was created by my talented stylist and lead Aloxxi Creative Artist Marilyn Cole:

Aloxxi Hair

Faster color fading is my main concern in the summer. I guess from all the sun and chlorine in the water. My hair also gets pretty frizzy and I know I’m causing more damage the more often I have to straighten it.

My two major summer hair concerns are 1) dry damaged hair from being in chlorine pools and 2) major “fluff” from the humidity. The second one is the bigger problem I’m a PSU officer( sex offenders) and am constantly outside & running back and forth to court. By noon I look like poodle….seriously. Would love product suggestions.
