Happy New Year My Beauties! How is 2022 going for you so far? Mine is off to a busy start and like many of you, I am trying to kickoff the new year prioritizing my health and wellness, and for me that begins with self-care. Self-care for me is all about achieving more balance in my life and taking time out to do things that relax my mind and body. What I find extremely helpful is regularly engaging in a relaxing nighttime ritual that includes things like disconnecting, journaling, reading, and taking long baths to name a few. And when I factor in being in early menopause and the toll it takes on your mind and body, it makes prioritizing self care even more important!

That’s why I am delighted to introduce you to Kindra, a modern pioneering midlife women’s wellness brand that is revolutionizing menopause. Kindra makes a wonderful assortment of estrogen-free menopause products that support the most disruptive signs of menopause including hot flashes, brain fog, and more. Each of their products is made with clinically-studied ingredients and natural plant extracts which are designed to support physical and mental menopause discomfort as your body goes through this natural hormonal transition.

Over the past year or so, I have used a variety of Kindra’s products and I have been really impressed with the difference they have made in my menopause journey. They have made a noticeable difference in my overall mood, they have helped decrease my hot flashes and they have helped my mental clarity. In order to help you kick-off January on the right foot, I wanted to share a few of my current favorite evening self care tips that help me feel more balanced, focused and happier as the new year gets underway.

I don’t know about you, but nothing calms my mind or grounds my body better than a hot relaxing bath before bed. And as a beauty junkie, nothing makes a bath more fabulous than adding the right potion to your tub to elevate your overall experience and Kindra’s Soothe Bath Soak is my new go-to bath time indulgence to take my evening bath to the next level.

Kindra’s exciting new product is the first ever bath soak specifically formulated for the tender skin of women experiencing vaginal discomfort or shifting vaginal pH during midlife. This innovative formula features patent-pending technology with the Nourish-3 Complex that includes a gentle yet effective clinically-studied peptide shown to provide comfort to sensitive skin; a sleep-supporting chamomile which helps calm your skin and mind and an Omega-rich, restorative oat kernel extract for skin healing support and hydration.

This bath soak is absolutely divine! I love the subtle but lovely rose scent, the calming chamomile and the luxurious but lightweight silky texture that moisturizes your body and soothes your skin. After I take a bath with Kindra’s Bath Soak, I feel calm, relaxed and soft. It’s such a nourishing product and a great way to unwind before bed. I also think it would make a lovely Galentine’s gift for your midlife girlfriends too!

One of the more frustrating symptoms that can occur during menopause is interrupted sleep which is most frequently caused by night sweats and menopause-induced insomnia. When I don’t get a good night’s sleep, I can’t function well the next day, so another self-care tip that I wanted to share with you is to make sure that you have a calming night-time ritual to help set yourself up for a good night’s sleep.

My night time self-care ritual includes doing a mind dump of all the things floating around my head so that it is clear before I go to bed; I try to turn off my phone and disconnect at least an hour before bed; I enjoy reading a light and entertaining book (no NEWS!) before bed, putting on a silky soothing eye mask and lastly taking a natural sleep supplement before my head hits the pillow.

Kindra’s Sleep Enhancing Supplement is my current favorite nighttime supplement because it is formulated to help with sleep issues of menopausal women. This innovative supplement is a gentle and effective formula made with a healing cocktail of nourishing plant ingredients that help tackle night sweats and insomnia. It is made with Ashwagandha, to calm your mind and help you unwind at night as well as Pycnogenol® which helps soothe your cardiovascular system and targets the root cause of night sweats. It also includes a low-dose of Melatonin to help lull you to sleep swiftly while the other ingredients soothe your body and mind. And the best part is that I wake up in the morning feeling refreshed and well-rested!
