I am all about having shiny, bouncy, healthy looking hair, how about you? I think smooth, shiny, radiant hair makes you feel like a million bucks and look years younger. I am admittedly a high maintenance girl who is obviously obsessed with looking her best and my hair is no exception, so I color and cut my hair every 6-8 weeks to ensure that it looks and feels its best. However, regularly using chemicals on my hair really takes its toll, so I am constantly looking for great haircare products that are sulfate free, hydrating, shine enhancing and color preserving.
I am very exctied about my latest product discoveries from the Chroma Reflection line from the cult fav haircare brand Kerastase. The Chroma products are all designed to preserve the shine and duration of color treated hair and recently this line added some exciting new products that I am totally loving right now: Chroma Sensitive Cleansing Balm and Chroma Cristal Shine Perfecting Mist.
Chroma Sensitive Caressing Cleansing Balm is an anti-fading cleansing balm that allows you to wash your hair regularly without washing away color. It is an ultra-gentle, low-foaming creamy formula that reduces friction on the hair fiber, keeps the surface smooth, locks in color and boosts your hair’s radiance. And it is also sulfate, paraben, and silicone free (Woot Woot!)
This is a totally unique and different type of product than I have ever used before. I would describe it as a hybrid between a shampoo and a conditioner that gently cleanses your hair with very little foam, but leaves your hair clean and hydrated in one easy step. It totally removes the build-up on your hair but leaves your color in tact! I love the fresh and slightly floral scent, I love the unique gentle cleanse and my favorite thing about this product is how my hair looks and feels after using it-perfect, smooth, soft and shiny! It makes my hair look like a pro did it. Love it!
Chroma Cristal Shine Perfecting Mist is a lightweight finishing shine enhancing mist for color-treated hair. This innovative spray contains antioxidants and Vitamin E to protect and preserve your color and add a gorgeous luster and shine to your hair. This is a fresh smelling, lightweight shine spray that does not weigh my hair down and perfectly finishes my blow dry. I really like the combination of Chroma Mist with Chroma Sensitive because the two products work beautifully together to make my hair smooth and shiny.

I love the Kerastase line as well! Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the new products…I look forward to trying them. I also love their Ciment Thermique – have you tried that? It’s a reconstructing milk that you put in after shower before blow dry and it protects the hair as well as making it shiny and silky. Thanks Rome for ALL the great tips! xo, M.
