In preparation for Labor Day and end of the season swimwear sales, I’ve curated a fabulous selection of flattering and slimming bathing suits for women over 40
I don’t know about you, but for me this summer has flown by, where have all the long luxurious summer days gone? In fact, my son went back to school today!! Nonetheless, the days here in sunny SoCal are still pretty warm, and there are still plenty of beach and pool days on the horizon until the cooler temperatures settle in. So in honor of milking the last couple months of summer and in preparation for Labor Day, I wanted to share some of my favorite swimsuits of the season. Once again, the incredible fashion forward styles, slimming designs and confidence boosting craftsmanship of Miraclesuit make these fabulous swimsuits my all time favorites year after year.
What I love most about Miraclesuit and Magicsuit is that their designs don’t compromise fashion trends and at the same time they offer women over 40 incredibly flattering, smoothing and sveltifying swimwear (their suits are made with a superior ultra supportive Lycra spandex fabric) that make their bodies look slimmer and more youthful. In my opinion, these swimsuits are age appropriate yet have the perfect amount of sexiness the make women look and feel their absolute best. First up, is the Miraclesuit Colorblock Trilogy ($150) This show stopper fits like a glove, smooths and shapes your body in all the right places and gives your body a long leaner look with the ingenous and strategic use of color blocking.
This swimsuit is perfect for active water based vacations. I recently wore this bathing suit on an adventurous trip to Mexico and it held up beautifully and emulated style and sophistication throughout my zip lining and water park adventures. I LOVE this chic modern swimsuit and I got tons of compliments on it!
I am wearing the Colorblock Trilogy in Black, but I LOVE it in this Midnight Pink combo! Also, I am wearing a size 14 because these suits run SUPER snug in order to really slim your body, so they recommend going a size up!
Next up is the Magicsuit Yvonne Halter Swimdress ($172) This curve hugging swimsuit has a gorgeous deep plunging halter style neckline paired with super flattering ruched draped fabric to conceal your jiggly bits while highlighting your fabulous curves.
I’ve RAVED about this fabulous retro style swimsuit before which has a gorgeous vintage flair and reminds me of something Marily Monroe might have worn. It’s totally a Va-Va-Voom style bathing suit!
I’m wearing it in the Merlot hue, but I absolutely love it in classic and timeless Black.
Last, but certainly not least is the Miraclesuit So It Seams Seabrook Bandeau Swimsuit ($182) This gorgeous black and white strapless one piece is the most slimming suit in the mix because of it’s tiered tummy control paneling and the corset-like bodice design (which makes it a little more challenging to get on FYI.)
I feel so sexy and svelte in this curve loving, waist-cinching retro modern bathing suit that slims in all the right places.
I love that it comes with removable straps so that you can change up the look if the mood strikes you. This strapless style is totally new for me because I am busty, I never trust that this type of style will stay up on me, but rest assured, this suit ain’t gonna budge!
Sending hugs and kisses out to all of the other fabulous women over 40 out there, who have been timid about showing off their assets as they have gotten older, with age-defying swimsuits like these, there is no need to hide any longer, rock what you’ve got and please share!
