FLASH GIVEAWAY – Win 2 Tickets to Maleficent: The IMAX 3D Experience®

As many of you know, I am an avid collector of all things Disney Female Villains and Maleficent is my fav of the bunch. Needless to say, I have been counting down the moments until the release of this much anticipated movie and I am lucky enough to be among the first to see this movie tomorrow night at a special IMAX®*/Disney/MAC Cosmetics insider event. Stay tuned for my social media updates tomorrow night!

Maleficent is the untold story of Disney’s most iconic villain from the 1959 classic Sleeping Beauty. Angelina Jolie stars as Maleficent, a beautiful, pure-hearted young woman who grows up in an idyllic peaceful kingdom, until one day she suffers a ruthless betrayal that begins to turn her pure heart to stone. Bent on revenge, Maleficent places a curse upon the newborn daughter of the soon to be throned king. As the child grows, Maleficent realizes that this child holds the key to peace in the kingdom and perhaps to Maleficent’s true happiness as well.

  1. Ohhhh , I adore anything Disney villainess! I collect too. I loved maleficent as well! Wasn’t it great?! I was lucky enough to find villainess makeup sets a couple years ago (only at cvs apparently) and have a couple of them. The maleficent is my fav. They were by elf. Actually the eye shadows are really awesome colors. Folds out like a story book with instructions on a day and night villainess look. 🙂 pre mal movie. They had them last year as well. I’m just not that big a fan of cruella so it’s the only one I know of missing. I tried to scour the net for more of the kits, but like I said.. Apparently cvs only. :/ and only around Xmas.

Hot topic has some gorgeous clothes from the movie!!! I immediately shopped there in person and online * blush* but the clothes are sooo pretty and how often does one get to shop their fav villainess’ line? 🙂 and truly it’s all valued as collectable too, right? 😉 yes, someone went a bit crazy with the shopping. They have some seriously cute aurora blouses and dresses too. If you know of anyone else (Disney has less than hot topic even!!!) that has maleficent products lmk! Have a happy (belated) 4th of July wkend!

My favorite is still “Snow White,” or at least the most memorable. It was the first movie I ever recall going to, and it was in the neighboring BIG town, where they had a huge old theater with a big velvet fringed curtain. (It’s since been divided into a 6 theater multi-plex) I can remember being so afraid of the witch and I even think it put me off of apples for awhile!

  18. My favorite is probably National Treasure.
