Blue Man Group Speechless Tour: Los Angeles Premiere

The world renowned Blue Man Group known for their innovative performance art make their Los Angeles debut now through October 6, 2019

If you enjoy live theater then you have most likely seen a Blue Man Group performance over the years, however surprisingly they have never done a show in Los Angeles. Last week, this innovative and captivating performance artist trio (owned by Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group) kicked of their first ever LA run with their new Speechless Tour at the Hollywood Pantages.

Speechless is the result observing humanity for the past thirty years. This refreshing new show features original compositions, invented instruments and unexpected situations alongside iconic Blue Man Group moments based in joy, art, music, comedy, social commentary and profound absurdity. If you have never had the opportunity to see a Blue Man performance before, they are always entertaining, eccentric, fun and they never have any spoken words. Beneath the laughs and applause, this avant-garde show challenges the themes of invention, curiosity and human connection.

The Blue Man Group’s Speechless Tour is a visually stimulating multi-media extravaganza featuring musical performances with their unique tube-based instruments, playful acts featuring paint, water, fluorescent strings, emojis and colorful puffs flying across the stage into their mouths as well as a lot of audience participation to name a few highlights of the show. I took my 16 year old son to the show and we both found it entertaining, peculiar, laugh out loud funny and it was a great show to bridge our discrepant tastes.
