Last week I attended BlogHer’14, probably the biggest blogging conference in North America. Bloggers and brands come from everywhere to attend this well-known conference, and this year I was delighted to be invited as a VIP guest at the Eppa Sangria Sundown Soiree the night before BlogHer began. As I special guest, I was asked to select an outfit from event partner Soybu Active Fashion Apparel to wear to the party and I was tasked with socializing, mingling and sharing fun tidbits about Eppa Sangria and Soybu. So just to clarify, I was invited to attend a cocktail party, wear fabulous clothes, sip refreshing sangria and be a hostess with the mostest, ummm rough job but someone has gotta do it 😉
This party was so fun and festive! It was held on a lovely outdoor patio in downtown San Jose, California and it was decorated with lots of vibrant colors that beautifully represented the Eppa Brand and instantly put you in a good mood. When I saw this snazzy Eppa Sangria Ice Luge, I knew we were in store for fabulous party
Let me tell you a little bit more about this yummy, refreshing and perfect-for-a-summer-soiree Sangria. Eppa Sangria is an organic bottled sangria made with certified organic antioxidant rich superfruit juices and certified organic premium varietal wine. Because this sangria is made with superfruits, Eppa has 2x the antioxidants of regular red wine and 3x the antioxidants of white wine. Not only does it taste great, but it’s good for you too!
Eppa Sangria comes in tart refreshing Red (a blend of pomegranate, acai, blueberry & blood orange) and my personal favorite, a tropical aromatic White (a blend of peach, mango, mangosteen & blood orange.) In all honesty, I make a mean homemade sangria myself and truly felt that this sangria was really good and tasted like homemade, this oenophile was impressed! And the best part is that you can find it at Whole Foods and lots of other stores nationwide by checking HERE.
One other added bonus about buying Eppa Sangria is that not only is it tasty and the perfect summer cocktail, but the brand has partnered with Whole Planet Foundation and now thru August 31, 2014, they will be donating a portion of their proceeds, up to $25,000 to fund poverty alleviation around the globe. Cheers to that!
So now back to he party, the sangria was flowing and the atmosphere was fun and inviting and everyone seemed to be having a good time. My partner in crime and sista VIP guest Stacy Cox took our hostess duties quite seriously as we sipped on this tasty sangria, walked around and mingled with the blogger guests and took all sorts of fun sassy photos to capture the festive atmosphere of this fab party
Another highlight of this fun event was being introduced to Soybu, a versatile women’s apparel line that easily transitions from studio to street. The beautifully made super comfortable clothes come in a wide range of active and lifestyle clothing including yoga pants, athletic tops, dresses, sweaters, and wraps.
The NEW Quinn Crossbody Zipper Jacket (available in the Fall) & the Killer Caboose Pant
Use code #NamastEPPA for 25% off everything at Soybu thru 9/24/14
Cheers to a fabulous soiree filled with beautiful women, sassy photos, luscious sips, chic and comfortable clothing and a memorable night!
