Last month, I was invited to visit the recently opened Essensuals London a fabulous new state of the art salon on Melrose in the heart of the trendy designer boutiques. Essensuals is dedicated to top notch hairstyling inspired by European fashion and designers.
The Essensuals space is sleek and modern and I love how they offer some delightful extra little touches with a European flair like high tea on their rooftop patio (how fun & inpsired!) or a picture of Queen Mum staring at you in the loo.
I loved the whole vibe of this contemporary space and noticed that even though there are top notch stylists working here, it felt down to earth and comfortable. I decided to get a mini Brazilian Conditioning treatment which is a deeply penetrating and smoothing conditioner with keratin in it. After about ten minutes under the dryer with my conditioner, it was rinsed off and I had the pleasure of being paired with casino the adorably French stylist Philippe for my blow dry.
From the moment I met him, I loved Philippe cause I could tell he was a seasoned pro. And honestly, given my beauty maven status, I prefer the highly skilled pros who know their stuff rather than the newbies. Phillipe carefully assessed my hair and told me what I need to do to help it look even better, and then he proceeded to give me a voluminous, smooth, top notch quality blow dry. I loved it and very much enjoyed sitting in his chair.
If you live in LA, I definitely recommend trying out Essensuals London, you won”t be disappointed.
