Let me tell you a little more about this amazing collaboration. Both trendsetters in the style universe, John Frieda Hair Care and Lauren Merkin (whose name is synonymous with clutch) have joined forces to create the ultimate style accessories: Two exclusive Lauren Merkin clutches with must-have John Frieda stylers inside and I am giving ONE of them away!
Volume Refresher Clutch ($295)
Lauren Merkin created this chic and yummy soft and poofy beige and gold snakeskin-embossed metallic leather clutch to match John Frieda’s Luxurious Volume Anytime Volume Refresher, a product that infuses instant oomph to your hair. This product is ideal for fine hair prone to flatness because Volume Refresher recreates volume at the roots by absorbing oils, instantly taking weight out of hair to give it lift. The translucent formula blends effortlessly to refresh hair and revive volume without a hint of residue. I have been LOVING this product! It gives my hair the perfect amount of volume without weighting it down.
Flyaway Tamer Clutch ($275) –This is the ONE I am GIVING AWAY!!
Lauren also designed this slim, classy rectangular taupe patent leather clutch with red suede lining to reflect the glossy, smooth hair you get from John Frieda’s Full Repair Touch-up Flyaway Tamer. This Flyaway Tamer polishes broken strands, smooths flyaways and frayed ends with Inca Inchi oil, an omega 3-packed oil that weightlessly restores dry, damaged hair. This frizz tamer fits perfectly into this clutch and is on hand for on-the-go frizz touch-ups and an instant boost of shine. I carry this useful product staple in my purse to manage those pesky flyaways while I am out and about and it works like a charm! And you have a chance to win this amazing purse and product duo below!

The tip for me is to make sure the ends of my hair are blow dried while being pulled through my round brush. If I don’t, frizz, no shine and not nice at all!

My best tip for great hair is to pay the little extra for top of the line products (or even middle of the line… but the inexpensive stuff often doesn’t work as well for healthy hair.)

Keeping your hair conditioned tremendously helps me to keep my hair shiny. If I don’t my hair is dry and frizzy.
I also use hair smoothers when I am styling.
I’ve always heard that doing a final rinse in very cold water leaves the hair shiny.
If you don’t have dry shampoo – baby powder is just as amazing!
My tip for healthy hair is an avocado mask once every two weeks!
i try to keep hydrated and take yummy healthy fats (like avacados!)
Brush it at leat 2-3 times a day 🙂

Once a week I warm up some olive oil, coat my hair, and sleep with it wrapped in a t-shirt (the fabric doesn’t get tangled up in the hair like a terry cloth towel would). Wash in the morning. I also do not blow dry or use other heating implements on my hair.
rinse with apple cider vineaga for extra shine

I strongly recommend quality products for best results. I like to use a shining product as a finisher as well. you just can’t go wrong with good product. and i love trying them all.
I love Garnier Fructis! It smells nice and it gives a great shine to your hair.
However, it’s a bit expensive, in my opinion, so I sometimes put a dab of olive oil in my hair to add a layer of shine to it.
RInse your hair with cold water after shampoo. This will make hair shiner and smooth!
Olive oil!
Use a hairdryer immediately after a shower to keep it shiny!
Sally – saldav83 at yahoo dot com
deep condition once a week. I put a plastic cap on my hair and use the hair dryer to open up the pores in my hair while conditioning
I like to do an all natural hair mask using ripe avocado and olive oil.
just smush the avocado in s small bowl
add 1 table spoon of olive oil, mix,
then put into hair for at least 15 minutes.
this helps a lot for people with dry scalp as well!
I rinse my hair with cool water
Use hair masks that hydrate (argan oil, mayonnaise, protein treatments), use shine spray, brush well and just take care of your hair!!

By washing my hair at night and letting it dry while I sleep, it is less brittle and shinier!!
i still have a tube of VO5 that I use on my hair when it is dry and staticky it provides shine too! love it!
I don’t wash my hair everyday. I do a conditioner every couple days. I also use cooler water and once a month I use Chi silk infusion 🙂
Thank you for the chance.
This is awesome! I think a great tip is using a moisturizing treatment that is natural- such as coconut oil, which smells good and works well!
masques, oil, conditioners- deep treat your hair with olive oil if that is all you have.

I have long hair and I use a tiny bit of a hair oil in my ends after every shower; either coconut or argan oil. Thanks!
My tip for healthy hair is to air dry your hair as much as possible and use the blow dryer after your hair is just a little damp.
I use a good serum or cream while my hair is still wet to fight frizz.

I give my hair a break once a week from any products, this keeps it healthier and shinier. rudy46n2@yahoo.com Michelle

COMMENT: Use good products to add extra shine 🙂
Deep condition during every shower. Wash hair first, then leave conditioner in while you do everything else, then rinse out with cool water at the very end.
