Freshen-Up Your Hair: Summer Glaze & Blowout at Beauty Collection

I NEVER turn down a good blowout, and when it comes with a hair shine treatment even better! That’s why I jumped at the chance to head to the Beauty Collection in WeHo to checkout this fab new service. And as a bonus, I brought along one of my dear girlfriends Lori, who just celebrated her big 5-0 and I wanted to take her out for a fun night on the town, beginning with a taste of my life as a beauty editor. Knowing that Lori is a busy wife and mom and rarely takes the time to pamper herself, I thought this would be fun and an extra special GNO treat.

When Lori and I arrived at the Beauty Collection, we were greeted with a warm welcome by the staff and our stylists. Each of us discussed what kind of glaze we wanted on our hair, Lori has blond hair and opted for a clear shine treatment (think of it like a super shiny smoothing topcoat for your hair) and I wanted to punch up my violet red color, so my fab stylist Gino used a combo of Redken Shades in a vibrant blue red in some areas and a conditioning shine treatment in others to totally freshen and revitalize my hair and color.
