One of my absolute most favorite things to do in Los Angeles every summer is attend a performance at the Hollywood Bowl. It is a spectacular, iconic outdoor concert venue with stellar acoustics in the heart of the Hollywood Hills that offers an amazing assortment of shows every season. If you live in LA or visit during the summertime and early Fall, seeing a show at the Hollywood Bowl is a must!
I am super excited to attend my first show of the season this coming Friday night; I’m seeing nine-time Grammy award winning singer-songwriter Sheryl Crow with my BFF and I know it’s going to be a special night. Not only is Sheryl amazingly talented, but I know that she is all about girl power and that she really treasures her girlfriends which makes her show the perfect Girls Night Out.
My bestie Stacy Cox and I are going to put together a yummy al fresco foodie picnic, grab a refreshing bottle of rosé and head on up to my fav picnic spot hidden high up in the perimeter of the Hollywood Bowl to relax, unwind and have some good old fashioned girl talk before the show.
Our evening at the Bowl kicks off with Latin Grammy-winning Cuban-Canadian singer-songwriter Alex Cuba and then Sheryl Crow hits the stage to perform many of her well-known hits like “All I Wanna Do” and “Soak up the Sun.” I can’t wait to sip a glass of wine on a balmy summer night with my girlfriend and listen to fabulous music by this female rockstar.
So if ‘all you wanna do’ is have some fun this weekend, grab a girlfriend or two and go see Sheryl Crow at the Hollywood Bowl, it’s sure to be a fantastic night of music and friendship under the SoCal stars. And if it’s a clear night, you will have a birds eye view of the infamous Hollywood sign!
