Being an influential blogger definitely has it’s perks, like being able to attend swanky Hollywood style parties like The X Factor Finalist Party that I attended earlier this week. I was lucky enough to be invited to this fabulous party (along with two of my fav social media mavens) by a few of the event sponsors COVERGIRL, Secret and Herbal Essences to enjoy an evening of celebrating the top twelve finalists of the X Factor. And let me tell you, this was a top notch party with no expense spared.
About a week before the event, these sponsoring brands sent me this fabulous box of beauty booty to prep for the big event. I love when brands include this extra classy touch because it totally puts you in the mood for the party. I am in the market for a new deodorant and was excited to try Secret’s New Clinical Strength Formulas and I also immediately fell in love with COVERGIRL’s Lipslicks Smoochies Lip Balms because they are yummy, super moisturizing and they give you the perfect wash of color.
The event took place at the chic SLS Hotel in Jose Andres (the molecular gastronomy king) The Bazaar restaurant. Guests were treated to all of his inspired tasty morsels like cotton candy mojitos, philly cheese steaks, Iberico Ham, Waygu Beef, and an unexpectedly fizzy chocolate poprocks for dessert. As we sipped our yummy cocktails and enjoyed a plethora of deelish food and stellar service, we had a bird’s eye view of Simon holding court on the VIP patio with his ex-girlfriend and his baby mama.
This was such a well executed event with plenty of room to mix, mingle, eat, drink and celebrate. My beauties and I had so much fun checking out this year’s X Factor talent (diva Lillie McCloud definitely made an impression) and goofing around in the onsite photo booth
