As many of you know, being a 40+ woman skincare is my top area of passion! I’ve been getting facials since I was 16 and have been obsessed with all things skin since then, so as you can imagine I have curated alot of knowledge and experience in the skincare category. In other words, I am very savvy about his topic and take it rather seriously, so when I rave about skincare I really mean it! I recently had the opportunity to try out Luzern Laboratories skincare as well as one of their anti-aging facials and honestly this brand kinda ‘wowed’ me. Let me tell you why:
Luzern Labs products are made out of ingredients harvested from plants that are sustainably grown at high altitudes in the Swiss Alps. These high altitude plants contain potent concentrations of antioxidants because they have to fight to survive in the high temperature fluctuations and UV radiation of that climate. These Swiss extracts yield a gold standard of certified Bio-Suisse organic anti-aging extracts which are combined with pharmaceutical-grade active ingredients and then produced in small batches at low temperatures in order to preserve their anti-aging goodness. This process results in very pure skincare products that are free of toxic additives and irritants.
I had the opportunity to try four of these impressive products as well as combine it with a professional Luzern facial at a local spa and my skin has never looked better. Let me more about the products that I tried and about my fab facial:
Serum Absolut WE3 Stem Cell ($140) is an advanced peptide triple-action wrinkle erasing serum that reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, diminishes discoloration and increases the firmness and elasticity of your skin. It contains Swiss apple stem cells to protect and rejuvenate your skin as well as peptides to stimulate the anti-aging process and it has a noticeable impact on visible lines and wrinkles. I love the clean fresh smell of this potent serum and how it instantly absorbs into my skin and makes it smooth on contact. After using this serum for about a month, my skin looks and feels smoother, softer and more radiant.
Serum Absolut Control ($95) is a skin clarifying, oil and blemish reducing serum that contains Salicylic acid to unclog pores and diminish the appearance of enlarged pores; as well as Niacinamide which helps reduce acne bacteria and breakouts. Although I have dry skin most of the time, during the summer months my skin gets sticky, greasy and congested so I like to use an oil controling product to keep my skin in balance. This fab little serum instantly absorbs surface shine and gives your skin a nice matte finish without drying it out. It makes my skin feel fresh and clean and I’m totally bringing it with me during my summer travels.
Serum Absolut Luminous ($95) is a fabulous cocktail of peptides, vitamins and organic plant-based nutrients that instantly diminishes dark circles, puffiness and inflammation under your eyes. This serum contains Haloxyl and Soy/Rice Peptides which work together to target puffiness and fluid retention under the eyes. My under eye area is the feature that bugs me the most and this serum totally works! I immediately notice that my puffiness and dark circles are a lot less noticeable after I use this serum and it makes me look fresher and less tired.
Force de Vie Crème Intensive ($165) is a luxurious ultra-rich, super hydrating anti-aging moisturizer that contains a mega dose of oxygen along with vitamins, antioxidants and hyaluronic acid which all work synergistically together to rejuvenate your skin. I’m obsessed with this yummy cream because it bathes my skin in moisture and skin transforming ingredients and I like to use it at night and when I wake up in the morning my skin is smooth, plump, radiant and glowing.
As an added bonus to this product trial, I also had the opportunity to visit The Peninsula Spa in Beverly Hills for a Luzern Pure O2 Infused Facial and let me tell you it was totally a treat for my skin! This facial is ideal for anyone who is concerned about hyper-pigmentation and dehydration, and it was exactly what my skin needed before my upcoming heavy summer travels.
The Pure O2 Facial is an intensely hydrating and brightening treatment that includes deep cleansing, exfoliation, a face and neck massage and multiple targeted applications and layers of Luzern’s pro strength Vitamin C, Peptides and Brightening serums and then finishing with a revitalizing blast of medical grade oxygen. My skin was totally radiant, bright and glowing. I loved this facial! The best part is that I still have plenty of the Luzern products left to help me maintain these wonderful results at home. I’m definitely a new fan and Luzern is sure to be in my beauty mix for a long time to come because its a wonderfully clean skincare line but also results driven.

The product is a bit pricey but I want to try even just one of this. I want one of this products to be a part of my beauty arsenal. Honestly, I have never tried any of these but I know how quality these are when it comes to skincare and the reviews are the proofs. So I guess, I give it a try.
