One of the best perks of my job as a Lifestyle/Travel Blogger is getting invited to review hotel properties all around the country, but it’s an extra special treat when that hotel happens to be right in your own backyard and you didn’t even know it! Allow me to introduce you to The Orlando Hotel, a chic boutique hotel nestled in the heart of West 3rd Street among some of the best shopping, dining, glamming, and lifestyle activities that Los Angeles has to offer. I was invited to this lovely property along with a handful of LA’s top influencers for a Girls Night Out & Pajama Sleepover Party to get to know this sweet hotel and all the fabulous things to do around it.

Orlando Arrival

The Orlando is immersed among a plethora of fabulous things to do and I think one of the best things about this property is it’s prime location, which allows you to valet park your car and never have to take your car out throughout your stay! And if you are familiar with LA’s less than optimal traffic situation, this is a major perk of this hotel. Personally, I totally love (and prefer to stay at) boutique hotels because they are cozy, warm and quickly make you feel right at home and The Orlando is no exception.

The decor throughout The Orlando is comfortable, chic, modern and inviting, very much like their Lobby Lounge adjacent to the front desk. The entire hotel is very well-appointed, yet it makes you feel welcome to hangout and unwind.

And my personal favorite, an onsite seasonal, sustainable farm-to-table restaurant called The Churchill where we dined later that evening. We began with handcrafted artisanal cocktails and then indulged on a gorgeous array of foodie eats like a Tuscan Kale Salad, Harissa Seared Scallops, Blacked Sea Trout with Black Garlic Salsa Verde and Chocolate Pot Au Creme for dessert #NomNom

One additional onsite perk of this hotel is a a petite Clover Juice Bar where you can enjoy fresh pressed organic juices whenever it tickles your fancy. Love it!

But as I mentioned, the real beauty of the Orlando is it’s idyllic location and our girls staycation totally centered around showcasing that feature. After we settled into our rooms, the PR team for the hotel put together an amazing itinerary that allowed us to walk outside of our hotel and leisurely enjoy all the fabulousness around us – all on foot!

Fashionista Jennifer Chan and Amy Webber from PopSugar

Our first stop was Bedhead, a local retailer who makes fab, fun and whimsical pajamas right in the heart of Los Angeles. They spoiled us with bubbly and a pair of PJ’s to wear later that evening, so much fun!

Our next stop was at Murad’s Brand New Flagship Skincare Boutique for some pampering, hand massages, skin analysis and targeted mini facials. I LOVE this store! They have every anti-aging Murad product imaginable, the staff is incredibly knowledgeable and you can stop in a get a skin analysis and mini treatment for FREE! Make sure to check out their swoon worthy new product, Invisiblur Perfecting Shield Broad Spectrum SPF 30, I’m obsessed!

Now that our skin was refreshed and glowing, we needed good hair to match! So we moseyed a few doors over to the chic Aveda Concept Salon Spoke & Weal for a relaxing scalp massage and blowout, checkout how glam we looked after being spoiled at this salon

Now it was time to head back to The Orlando for dinner and our PJ Party, but first we made a quick stop to soak up some fab local street art – I finally got my wings 😉

After the deelish dinner at The Churchill, we changed into our Bedhead PJ’s for a requisite pillow fight

After a super fun girlie night hanging out in our cute PJ’s and an amazing cozy sleep, we gathered the next morning for some refreshing Clover Juices to start the day off right

After we packed up our rooms, we decided to milk our last moments at this fab hotel by lounging poolside

And of course we just had to sneak in one last farm-to-table meal of brunch poolside – this breakfast burrito was heavenly!

Wow! Even though I was only miles away from home, I felt so far away, relaxed comfortable and happy at this hidden gem.

The Orlando Hotel is located at 8384 W. 3rd Street, Los Angeles CA 90048

Disclosure: The Orlando Hotel invited me for an overnight stay including all meals, beverages and pampering. However,  all opinions are my own – in fact I loved this hotel so much that I am heading back there this weekend to take my mom for Mother’s Day!
