Last week, my hubby and son had the pleasure of heading to Hollywood and attending the Tim Burton Fan Event, Hand & Foot Print Ceremony and Advance Screening of Tim’s new movie Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children hosted by 20th Century Fox. My tweenage son was pretty excited to attend this event and see the movie in advance because he just started to read this much raved about horror fiction series.
Before the movie, my boys were treated to an up close and personal view of watching Tim Burton create his hand and foot prints at the iconic TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, CA
It was really cool to watch the process of Tim creating his hand & foot prints at this iconic theater – my guys loved imagining the Hollywood Legends who created their prints long before this and truly appreciated watching history in the making as Tim made his mark in this Hollywood Hall of Fame.
Adding to the appeal of this special ceremony, were sightings of some other Hollywood celebrities who came out to support and celebrate with Tim Burton like the fabulous Winona Ryder (she hasn’t aged a bit!)
After the Hand & Foot Print Ceremony concluded, my guys headed inside, grabbed some tasty Peculiar Mocktails and Cocktails and made themselves comfortable and ready to watch an advance screening of Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children which they really enjoyed!
Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children from visionary director Tim Burton and based upon the best-selling novel, opens in theaters nationwide on September 30, 2016 and is rated PG-13. Checkout the movie trailer below for a sneak peek of what you can expect from this movie
