Recessionista Brows

I am absolutely in love with the cult favorite Form-A-Brow Kit by Senna Cosmetics. This ingenious innovation is the brainchild of celebrity make-up artist Eugenia Weston (owner of Senna Cosmetics). Years ago, she developed these brilliant eyebrow stencils for one of her clients who wanted to achieve professional looking brows on her own and this revolutionary idea completely took off. This brow stencil kit has been a long time best seller for Senna because it allows the average woman to achieve a perfectly shaped, professional looking brow all on her own—and this is what I fell in love with!

With the economy being what it is, and everyone I know trying to save their pennies these days, even high maintenance beauty mavens like me have to cut corners somewhere. So I must admit, that I too have been stretching out the frequency between my professional brow shaping appointments in order to cut back. Imagine my delighted surprise when this wonderful little recession friendly product comes across my desk—I was very excited to give it a whirl.

So I followed the simple instructions, found my best stencil shape (natural for me) and eyebrow color (ebony) and then I tried it on my ‘not-so-well-groomed-at-the-moment’ brows, and viola my brows looked AWESOME, almost as good as a pro job and I was happily amazed. My brows looked defined and clean, and I felt sharp and put together. The professional shape that was left behind also provided a nice guide for you to pluck and groom the stray hairs outside the lines, if you are so inclined.
