Ever since I was a little girl, I have loved movies and growing up in Los Angeles and being around the biz makes it even more exciting. And things get to a fevered pitch when the Awards Season rolls around! Parties, events and glamming is in full force and as media, I am fortunate enough to partake in many of the Awards Season festivities. Although, I rarely get invited to the actual awards shows, this year my Oscars dance card was rather full, let me tell you what I've been up to:
ARCONA Red-Carpet Radiance Treatment
For years, beauty mavens have raved about the amazing facials and products from ARCONA, but I had never had a chance to visit until now. I was invited to ARCONA's Santa Monica Studio for the Red-Carpet Radiance Treatment, a decadent service with everything you need to get your face glowing for award's season. This loaded treatment includes a Brightening Facial Peel, ARCONA's Signature Facial Contouring to lift and tone, a hand peel, oxygen spray to plump and hydrate your skin and an LED treatment to rejuvenate your face. This wonderful treatment is designed to boost radiance, improve collagen production, and smooth fine lines. I LOVED this facial! It was active and results oriented without being invasive or overly aggressive and my skin GLOWED!
Joico's Pre-Oscars Styling Lounge
Joico invited me to the swanky SLS Hotel to enjoy yummy nibbles, a micro mixology lesson and to learn all about the latest and greatest from Joico. First, we were introduced to Joico's exciting new proprietary innovation called Bio-Advanced Peptide Complex, a peptide chain that repairs hair at the exact site of damage and prevents future damage by creating a shield of protection around the hair that lasts up to 25 shampoos (very exciting news)! Then we met the uber fab Damien Carney (pictured with me above), International Artistic Director for Joico, who walked us through the new styling products and showed us how to create the red-carpet looks at home with Joico's reformulated styling products.

This is one of my fav annual events where I sip bubbly, schmooze, get pampered and connect with exciting new brands. This year a few of the highlights were Le Mieux Cosmetics Skincare, Naked Princess eco friendly glosses and a gorgeous fruity floral fragrance from Acqua di Parma called Gelsomino Nobile
Secret Room Academy Awards Celebrity Gift Lounge
I've always wanted to attend this gifting suite and this year I was lucky enough to be invited by Crest. No wonder it's such a coveted invite, this is the BEST gifting lounge I have ever attended. Beautifully laid out, a relaxing atmosphere, a great mix of brands that were social media friendly, lots of interesting new products and it benefits Easter Seals. Some of my fav discoveries included Biaggi Folding Luggage, France Luxe Hair Accessories and Kate King Chakra Jewellry.
Roger Neal Style Hollywood 17th Annual Beauty & Couture Academy Award Suite
The RNSH Suites was another fun event that I attended during Awards Season. The hands down highlight of this event was seeing the the beautiful I Dream of Jeannie Bottles and meeting the designer Mario Della Casa, they were FAB! Mario was having celebs sign the bottles and then he was donating them to Hollywood High School's Performing arts program. At this suite, I also discovered the gorgeous hair appliances from ISO Beauty, the addictive Apple Stem Cell Masque from Olez Hair Care Products, and Renee Taylor's Face Love, a serum that lifts without surgery. I'm ready for my close up!
Kathy Duliakas' 5th Annual Celebrity Oscar Suite & Party

I stopped by Kathy Duliakas' Oscar Suite (benefiting the KIND Campaign for anti-bullying) to partake in a nice array of jewelry, fashion, accessories, beauty products, cocktails and yummy Mediterranean eats created by the Taglyan's Divine Food and Catering services. It was a great venue, lot's of nominees and stars stopped by and it supported a worthwhile cause. Noteworthy brands I discovered at Kathy's Suite were Isabeau Flourish Hydra Complex Age Defying Moisturizer, Hot Iron Holster portable silicone holders for hot styling tools and Chilanthropy, an eco-conscious handmade bath and body line that donates a portion of their proceeds to worthy charties.
