As I sit outside writing this post on a beautiful balmy Spring day in SoCal, I am hyper-aware that with the weather getting warmer, it is time for us to come out of our hibernation mode and start getting our bodies back on the wellness track and into better shape. What I mean by this is that we need to make a conscious effort to eat cleaner and detox the winter sludge, up our activity levels and focus our efforts on toning our body so that it looks it’s best during the more skin baring months. And while changing our lifestyle habits is more than half of the battle, using a few key body transforming beauty products can further enhance and support our health and wellness efforts.

Many of you are probably aware of the iconic and trusted French beauty brand Clarins, however I am not sure if you also know that Clarins is the number one Cellulite and Firming Beauty Brand in the United States! So given their trusted expertise in this niche, it is no surprise that they make some of the best body shaping and toning products on the beauty landscape. So just in time for the Spring/Summer season, I am sharing my favorite Clarins body toning products with you as well as sharing my new Body Toning Clarins Beauty Ritual and telling you what I am doing to look smoother and healthier this Spring.

Body Fit Anti-Cellulite Contouring Expert ($70) This product is based on 60 years of contouring expertise and is the cornerstone product in any Clarins Body Toning Regimen. This innovative body treatment helps reduce the look of cellulite with targeted refining and reshaping actions. It is formulated with 8 targeted plant extracts including organic Quince Leaf, which all work synergistically together to help smooth and reduce the appearance of cellulite, visibly firm, lift and hydrate your skin, and visibly contour and refine your hips and thighs.

I am OBSESSED with this product!!! I absolutely love the refreshing and cooling pink gel cream formula (great for summer too!) that instantly absorbs into your skin and noticeably softens and smooths the skin’s surface. This product smells fresh and Springy and I love how it invigorates my skin and minimizes flaws – it’s definitely a must have for women like me who are 40 plus and are looking for ways to firm their skin and make it look younger.

Tonic Bath & Shower Concentrate ($29) This concentrated body cleansing treatment detoxes and cleans your body with the aromatic scents of rosemary, mint and geranium. It also contains the extracts of gentian and pine to cleanse, detox and refine your skin. What I love most about the Tonic Concentrate is that it turns your bath or shower into a spa treatment! The gorgeous scent makes you feel like you are in luxurious French Spa and the refreshing slight tingling/cooling sensation makes it seem like you are getting a pampering spa treatment in the comfort of your own home.

Exfoliating Body Scrub For Smooth Skin ($38) This heavenly smelling refreshing exfoliating treatment is the perfect way to prep your skin for the Clarins toning and contouring products. It contains natural bamboo powders to remove rough, flaky surface cells and impurities as well as the extracts of mimosa and shea to hydrate and and soften your skin. I really like the whipped texture and small size of the polishing beads that gently yet thoroughly remove dry skin and leave your body soft, smooth and ready for treatment.

Tonic Body Treatment Oil ($64) I have been using this addictive toning and firming body oil for years because it’s that good! It is made of highly moisturizing hazelnut oil combined with 100% pure plant extracts including rosemary, geranium and mint which all together are an addictive and heavenly smelling combo. This swoon worthy oil firms, tones and improves elasticity and is a must have for women in their 40’s. I love the gorgeous aromatic scent and how it visibly softens and smooths my skin. Definitely a fav!

Here’s my Spring Into Wellness Clarins Body Toning Ritual:

-Step into a steamy hot shower and slather your body in the Tonic Bath & Shower Concentrate. Take a few moments to drink in this refreshing aromatic aroma. Notice how fresh and clean your skin feels

After cleansing, use the Exfoliating Body Scrub once or twice a week to remove dry skin and prep your skin for the Clarins Body Toning Treatments. Apply the scrub to damp skin, concentrating on areas of extreme dryness like elbows, knees and heels. Notice how soft, smooth and refined your skin feels after using this fabulous scrub

-After your skin is clean and prepped for your toning ritual, first use Clarins Body Fit Anti-Cellulite Contouring Expert to tone, refresh and tighten your skin then wait a few moments for it to fully absorb and follow it up with the Tonic Body Oil to seal in the treatment and give your body a firming aromatic dose of hydration! If you prefer a lighter treatment, you can use the Body Fit alone after cleansing and/or exfoliation
