Mmmmm Good! My Top 10 Best Smelling Beauty Products this Holiday Season

When you close your eyes and think of all the sweet smells and aromas that remind you of the holiday season, what comes to mind? Cinnamon, vanilla, ginger, pumpkin pie, gingerbread cookies perhaps? My mouth is watering just thinking about all of the yummy eats and fragrant treats that surround the holiday season. So imagine my delight, when this season I was sent a gorgeous assortment of delicious smelling beauty products that I just had to share with you. Following is a selection of my favorite yummy smelling beauty products of the season, totally addictive and calorie free!

1) Sothys Paris Cinnamon & Ginger Delicious Scrub ($45)

This is a wonderfully luxurious aromatic and exhilarating body scrub that smells like an exotic spicy marmalade. I would describe the scent as warm, refreshing and a bit masculine, which I really like. This scrub has a fluffy gel-like texture that goes on easily and leaves your skin soft, smooth and lightly fragranced.

2) AVON Frosted Gingerbread Bubble Bath ($8)

This is a totally yummy bubble bath treat for your senses. After I fill my tub with hot water and a few capfuls of this gingerbread bubble delight, it smells just like freshly baked gingerbread with creamy vanilla icing. It’s warm, creamy, sweet and almost edible. Love it!

3) Jan Marini Holiday Exfoliator in Pumpkin Spice ($80)

Every year Jan Marini releases a limited edition holiday version of her wonderfully active enzyme and glycolic acid resurfacing facial exfoliator and this year it’s Pumpkin Spice, yum! This divine scrub smell likes a spicy, cinnamon version of pumpkin pie and not only is it a total treat for your senses, it will also leave your skin smooth and glowing.

4) Acrona Pumpkin Body Lotion 10% ($35)

This pure and natural, highly active body lotion is infused with pumpkin extracts and glycolic acid to help firm, tone and regenerate the skin on your body. Imagine rubbing a slice of the best smelling pumpkin pie all over your body and you get the gist of how deelish this lotion is, not to mention it gets rid of dead skin and makes your body soft and supple.

5) LUSH Cosmetics Popcorn Lip Scrub ($8.95)

Lately, my lips have been so dry and flakey that I can’t keep my hands off this scrumptious holiday inspired sugar and salt lip scrub. This addictive lip scrub smells and tastes like sweet, buttery slightly salty popcorn and it totally gets rid of the pesky flakes of dry skin on my winter parched lips. Fab!

6) Purely Gorgeous Pumpkin Spice Body Scrub ($15.95)

This all-natural, exfoliating body scrub is handmade in Napa Valley with brown sugar, all-natural herbs, spices and oils. The Pumpkin Spice smell reminds me of a warm, rich creamy with hints of caramel slice of pumpkin pie. I love the gorgeous, homespun quality of this scrub and that it leaves my skin moist and smelling like a hint of Fall.

7) Light of Beauty Exotic Spice Soap ($6)

This lovely artisanal soap is handmade in Los Angeles with unrefined African shea butter, nourishing oils, organic and healing tumeric and garnished with crushed Juniper Berries. The Exotic Spice smells like a tasty slice of a tart and cinnamony apple pie and it totally wakes up my senses in the shower.

8 ) Herban Body Care Sweet Ginger Shae ($14)

I am a long time fan of Herban Body Care products because they are local, handmade and just plain gorgeous. Right now I am obsessed with Herban’s Sweet Ginger Shae, an emollient all over the body moisturizer that smells like a a fresh slice of sweet ginger. The scent is bright, refreshing, clean and gets rid of my dry patches in an instant!

9) J.R. Watkins Foaming Hand Soap in Juicy Sweet Apple ($4.99)

I am a fan of J.R. Watkins Apothecary style products that are available almost everywhere. I am loving this new Juicy Sweet Apple moisturizing foaming hand soap that is designed for kids but gets my stamp of approval. It has a fresh, clean sweet apple smell that leaves a hint of the yummy scent on your hands after washing.

10) Pure Plant Ginger + Vanilla Extra Rich Shea Butter Moisture Cream ($30)

This is a lovely creamy emollient, yet fast absorbing shea butter moisturizer made with natural and organic ingredients. I love the warm and refreshing ginger scent combined with the subtle vanilla, the blend is uplifting and grounding. This is an elegant product that I plan on having in my product rotation year round.
