My #AveenoDailyChallenge: Taking Steps Towards Beauty from the Inside Out

About a month ago, I was asked to participate in the #AveenoDailyChallenge and I enthusiastically accepted! Basically the challenge I chose was simple:  For 3 weeks, I committed to eating healthier by incorporating more fruits and veggies into my meals, and also to using AVEENO® Daily Moisturizing Lotion every day. My goal was aimed at enhancing beauty from the inside out.

First of all, eating healthier and more colorfully is something that I have always aspire towards, and at times I do it successfully and at other times I don’t. What was helpful during the challenge was that I had to be accountable for my healthier behaviors so I really tried to up my game. I definitely made a conscious effort to incorporate more gorgeous green juices like this during the challenge

This was probably my favorite part of the challenge because it ensured that I got a healthy dose of fruits and veggies almost everyday. And I noticed that after drinking these vibrant green elixirs my mood and energy were elevated. I also made an effort to make more colorful, flavorful fruit salads throughout the challenge like this deelish one

And I noticed that once you get in a healthy grove and buy the bounty of the season, it gets easier (and inspiring) and you want to do it more!
