What’s In My Bag? Romy’s Summer Must Haves

You might have noticed that I have not been posting very regularly lately, well that’s because I have been traveling quite a bit this summer. Some business travel and some pleasure, believe it or not I just got back from a fabulous camping trip in up state New York and I LOVED it! I could have done without the excessive bugs and dirt though :-)Anyhow, all this travel has forced me to whittle down my accessories and beauty product options (this is torture BTW for an obsessed beauty junkie!) and I am excited to share some new discoveries that have made it into my bag this summer. Blue Avocado Gro Bag It all starts with a fun and fabulous multi-use bag. Eco-friendly? Even better! Earlier this year, I discovered the wonderful sturdy recycled bags by Blue Avocado and fell in love with the light green Kiwi-WildFlower Gro Multi-Use Bag. These bags are super cute, sturdy, hold up to 20 pounds, are made from recycled materials, and fold-up nice and compact. I am impressed with the capacity of this bag and how well it is holding up over time.

Rice Force Make Up Remover A definite must have inmy bag is a great make up removing product and I am loving this inspired product from Rice Force. This is a gel based make up removing product that instantly binds to the impurities within your skin and gently removes debris without  dehydrating your skin. You apply this gel on dry skin and it quickly warms with your skin, turns silky and removes everything, even eye make up! I love how it leaves my skin feeling refreshed and supple.Kerstin Florian Refining Toner During summer time, my skin tends to be oilier and dirtier and I find myself craving a thorough and refreshing toner that really gets the gunk off. Kerstin Florian’s Toner is my new summer bestie! It smells like a yummy refreshing slice of cucumber and contains Salicylic and Phytic Acids which gently resurface the skin and get rid of excess oils. This genius toner purifies, calms, balances and hydrates my skin and I adore it! Vitiva Pro Vitamin E5 I always like to have a multi-purpose serum in my bag to heal and hydrate my skin whenever it wigs out. I’m a firm believer in face serums for making skin look younger. I think these little individual use capsules by Vitivia are BRILLIANT! The single use packaging is inspired and it contains a fabulous dose of a magical vitamin E serum which reduces inflammation, calms and hydrates the skin and protects against free radicals. Not only are these capsules portable, but they are perfect after a long day of sun or wind exposure and your skin will thank you!

Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Glow Pads A girl’s gotta get her summer glow on right? I am totally digging these single use exfoliating self-tanning pads by Dr. Gross. They are formulated with vitamin D and alpha and beta acids to exfoliate and clean the pores and they also give you a beautiful natural looking tan. Combining fruit acids with a self tanner helps clarify your skin and facilitates an even color application. Two must have products in one, happy me!

Orlane Super-Moisturizing Tinted Cream I love the ease of use and natural look of a tinted moisturizer on my face and Orlane’s Tinted Cream is top notch! This luxurious product beautifully hydrates your skin and makes it silky and radiant. Leonor Greyl Lait Luminescence This brand makes the most beautiful hair-loving products and their latest inspiration is this fabulous multi-use styling product. This spray protects your hair from excessive blow-drying and sun exposure and helps to restore the luminosity of your hair. I am totally addicted to this product because after a few spritzes on my towel dried hair, this spray delivers a smooth radiant hairstyle every single time I use it!Senna Lip Sync  My bag just wouldn’t be complete without the perfect lip product and what could be better than a lipstick and lip gloss duo? The duo is perfect to throw in your summer bag and I am loving the gold flecked Pink Mink and the shimmery nude Firefly. Definitely a summer must have lip product!

Perry Ellis Love Let’s not forget a fabulous fragrance to toss in our summer bag, right? I just discovered this fresh flirty feminine fragrance by Perry Ellis and I think it will pair perfectly for those romantic summer nights and concerts under the stars. It begins with a spicy citrus top note, then a bright floral heart note, and finishes with a sexy vanilla musk base note. This perfume is fresh and floral and at the same time warm and sultry, yum!

Towne & Reeese Isabella Earrings And no bag would be complete without a fabulous piece of jewelry to pull your look together! I recently discovered this fun, fashionable, budget friendly mommy owned jewelry line and fell in love with their inspired designs and reasonable prices. I am absolutely adoring their vintage chic Isabella earrings in turquoise and love the way they look with my summer maxi dresses
