Makeup by Heather Currie
Inspiration:
“Typically I get inspiration from the dress that Julie wears. This year she’s wearing a white dress with rose gold accents and jewelry. I know that Julie loves to have a smokey eye. I think she looks beautiful with a 60’s inspired eye so I blended all these ideas together to create this look.” – Heather Currie
Skin:
“Julie’s skin is pretty flawless to begin with, but I like to prime her skin using Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Serum. Next I use a wet sponge to apply Neutrogena Healthy Skin Liquid Makeup in Natural Beige. I like using a wet sponge, but it’s just a good to use your own fingers to apply the foundation.”
Eyes:
“Since I knew I was going to do a smokey eye, I pat foundation from the sponge on her eyes as a primer to the eyeshadow. Then, I dusted a little powder over the foundation to set it before applying the eyeshadow.”
“I used a few eye shadow palettes including Neutrogena Long Wear Eye Shadow in Cool Plum, Mink Brown and Soft Taupe and Neutrogena Nourishing Eye Liner in Spiced Chocolate and Cosmic Black.”
“I also like to mix Neutrogena Healthy Skin Brightening Eye Perfector Broad Spectrum SPF 25 with concealer and apply it under the eyes to brighten the area. I finished the look with Neutrogena Healthy Lengths Mascara.”
Lips:
“Since the eyes were more of the focus, I wanted to keep Julie’s lips a little less dramatic. I chose Neutrogena MoistureSmooth Color Stick in Sweet Watermelon since it’s the perfect compliment to the dress and Julie’s makeup look.”
