Lovin’ It: Caudalie Premier Cru Facial at Beauty Collection WeHo

One of my favorite aspects of being a beauty blogger is that I get to experience and try out a wide variety of services and treatments all over LA, and then share my experiences and recommendations with you, lucky me! And skincare and facials are always at the top of my list, so I was delighted to be invited to local beauty retailer and powerhouse, the Beauty Collection West Hollywood, to experience a luxurious Caudalie facial.

The Beauty Collection’s Caudalie Premier Cru Facial ($125) is a luxurious, nurturing and rejuvenating facial based on the power of grapes and vines. This indulgent facial utilizes Caudalie’s Premier Cru products which contain proprietary versions of potent anti-aging ingredients: Resveratrol to lift and firm, Viniferine to correct dark spots and brighten, and anti-oxidant rich grape-seed Polyphenols. These three skincare powerhouses work together synergistically to revitalize, smooth, tone and noticeably diminish fine lines and wrinkles.

My Premier Cru facial was conducted by lead esthetician and seasoned skincare expert, Carol Behrens. She is a talented skin care therapist who is very knowledgeable about the Caudalie line. Here’s a brief recap of the steps of this lovely facial:

Step 1: Cleanse & Tone – My face was gently cleansed and my makeup was removed with Caudalie Make-Up Remover Cleansing Water, Organic Grape Water, Instant Foaming Cleanser & then a spritz of Caudalie’s refreshing cult fav Beauty Elixir.

Step 2: Exfoliation – Carol combined Caudalie’s Gentle Buffing Cream with their Gentle Cleansing Milk to lightly exfoliate my face, then she did the necessary extractions and finished with a mist of Grape Water

Step 3: Massage – Vinexpert Firming Serum and Premier Cru La Creme Riche were used during this relaxing yet face stimulating massage. Along with using her hands to help the products penetrate more deeply, Carol also used an acupressure roller on my face (which stimulates healing and I got to take it home with me.)

Step 4: Mask – A Moisturizing Cream Mask was applied next and while it worked its magic, Carol gave me a delightful hand massage with Caudalie’s Hand & Nail Cream.

Step 5 – Fifteen minutes later the mask was removed, and Carol applied the yummy Premier Cru The Cream and The Eye Cream on my face and sealed all this gorgeousness with a rain of Beauty Elixir.

I really enjoyed this Caudalie facial! It was relaxing, nourishing and revitalizing for my skin. Carol was a gifted pro and the environment was cozy and professional. I’ve always thought of Beauty Collection as one of the best beauty curators in town, but now I’ll add wonderful facials to their list.
