Put Your Best Face Forward for Spring with Jouer Cosmetics

Over the years, I have heard rave reviews from my beauty blogging friends about the swoon-worthy Jouer Cosmetics especially about their skin-loving tints and I finally had a chance to try them. And I can honestly say that these tints definitely live up to the hype! They are lightweight, sheer, flaw camouflaging and they make your skin look, smooth, even, luminous and like you aren’t wearing anything. And the best part for my older, drier skin is that they are moisturizing! Let me tell you more about the three fabulous products that I tried.

Luminizing Moisture Tint ($38)

The Luminizing Tint is super lightweight, hydrating, and does an amazing job of evening out imperfections and reducing the look of fine lines with its light-diffusing multi-mineral formula. This impressive tint contains skin rejuvenating ingredients like Ginseng and Gingko Biloba Leaf Extract which deliver antioxidants to the skin and give you a healthy complexion. And on top of it all it has an SPF 20.

I am wearing the Jouer Luminizing Tint in Golden in the picture above. I LOVE this product because you can barely see it on my skin, however my skin looks smooth, even and like it’s best natural self. My favorite thing about the luminizing tint is that it gives my skin a lovely lit-from-within quality and it just glows. Typically, it takes me two or three different products to achieve this type of look. This is def a new fav!

Matte Moisture Tint ($38)

This is a lightweight mattifying moisture tint (sounds like an oxymoron, right?) that evens out imperfections and leaves your skin with a velvety smooth finish. The Matte Moisture Tint has an SPF 15 as well as skin nourishing antioxidant vitamins A, C & E. What’s most impressive about this tint is that it controls oil AND delivers moisture at the same time, two properties you don’t often see paired together. I love the way this matte tint wears over time and after wearing it all day, I like that my skin still looks smooth and shine free.

Anti-Aging Moisture Primer ($38)

This rich, hydrating primer is one of the newest products from Jouer. It is formulated with clinically proven Matrixyl® 3000, which contains hyaluronic acid and a blend of peptides that helps to restore elasticity and diminish fine lines and wrinkles. This revitalizing primer also contains Argan Oil and Shea Butter to nourish, lift and smooth skin texture, as well as Vitamin E, Ginseng & Gingko Biloba Extract to deliver antioxidants to skin and make it glow.

I have grown rather fond of primers in my forties because I think they help my skin look younger and fresher. Jouer’s AntiAging Moisture Primer has a great combo of skin smoothing and hydrating ingredients and it makes my skin radiant, supple and perfectly ready for my makeup application. Since it’s packed with several active skincare ingredients, it does so much more than your typical primer which makes it a winner in my book.
