LUNA by FOREO – A Futuristic, Attractive & Anti-Aging Facial Cleansing Device

I’ve been admiring the futuristic looking skincare facial cleansing devices from FOREO for a while now because they are so aesthetically pleasing, colorful, sleek and modern and honestly I thought it would look pretty on my bathroom counter. Well, I finally had the chance to try the pink LUNA for Sensitive/Normal Skin ($199) over the past month and am excited to tell you what I thought. At home beauty products and devices are so important to my skincare routines.

The LUNA utilizes a combination of sonic pulsations along with rounded nonabrasive silicone touch-points to help instantly refresh the look and feel of your skin while lessening the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. And it comes in three models to cater to different skin types: Pink for sensitive to normal skin, Blue for combination skin and White for ultra-sensitive skin.

In order to appreciate the cost and what differentiates the LUNA from other facial cleansing devices, I wanted to share the key features of the LUNA with you:

• T-Sonic™ Technology – It has 8 speeds which delivers up to 8,000 pulsations per minute that are channeled through soft silicone touch-points to gently remove dead skin cells, unclog pores and remove the majority of your makeup residue.
• Extra-Gentle Silicone – The smooth and soft silicone brush is nonabrasive enough for daily use. It is also nonporous and resistant to bacterial buildup, making it significantly more hygienic than standard sonic-cleansing brushes.
• Anti-Aging Mode – It has lower-frequency pulsations which are directed through concentric silicone waves onto wrinkle-prone areas to smooth the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
• A Smarter Investment – The LUNA is fully waterproof, lasts up to 450 uses per full charge and requires no replacement brushes.

How do you use the LUNA? It’s simple! Just apply your favorite cleanser to your face, wet the LUNA brush and turn it on. Then cleanse/move the brush around each area of your face for 15 seconds each, the device’s sonic vibrations/pulsations will pause every 15 seconds to remind you when to move on to the next area. When you are all done, rinse your face, apply your favorite anti-aging serum (if desired), and then use the reverse side of the device aka the Anti-Aging Surface with the curved lines and move it around your face/more wrinkle-prone areas using the lower-frequency Anti-Aging Mode (this side utilizes 12 second increments.)

What do I think of the LUNA by FOREO? As I mentioned earlier, this beauty junkie was smitten with the aesthetics of the LUNA before I even turned it on! However, not only does it look futuristic and cool and fit perfectly in the palm of my hand, it also feels pleasant and calming on your skin and it delivers results too. After about a week of use, I noticed that my skin was looking cleaner and more radiant and after a month of use my skin looks and feels rejuvenated and more lifted. However, my favorite thing about the LUNA is the Anti-Aging Surface that massages your skin on a deep level (feels really good), it helps products penetrate more deeply and none of it’s competitors have it.

While the LUNA is definitely an investment, if you are looking for ways to take your skincare regimen to the next level and want your skin to look healthier and more youthful, I definitely recommend checking it out.
