Shopping For a Swimsuit Online: What A Pleasant Experience!

If you are anything like me or any other typical woman, you are not particularly fond of bathing suit shopping season. There I said it, truth be told, it is just not fun to see all your flaws highlighted in bright lights trying on a swimsuit. So for this obvious reason, I LOVE the idea of shopping for a bathing suit online because it is super easy, private and much less intimidating. That is why I jumped at the chance to shop for womens swimwear from the 2012 Summer Fashion Collection at Macy’s.

I was pleasantly surprised by the wide variety of affordable and fashionable bathing suits that Macy’s is selling this season, especially in the one piece swimwear category. I don’t know about you, but when I go shopping for one piece bathing suits I typically find a plethora of ugly, unflattering ‘mom’ swimsuits available. However, I was delighted to see that Macy’s had a really nice selection of suits from top brands that I would be more than happy to strut around in this summer.

Given my budget of $75, I was only able to choose one swimsuit and ended with this fabulous INC International Concepts Swimsuit, Halter Printed One Piece ($69.98), isn’t it FAB!

This is a bold, bright statement making one piece swimsuit that has the illusion of a tankini two-piece. This is definitely not a ‘mommy’ bathing suit! It’s sexy, fun, flattering, curve loving and gorgeous. I love the vibrant summery Caribbean Ocean blue colors, the ruching in the mid-section to camouflage the bulge, and the sexy halter plunge. Doesn’t it just look like a tropical vacation waiting to happen?

I really love INC brand clothing because the garments are high quality, yet affordable and always on trend. I found this swimsuit very well made with the quality that rivals the best (and more spendy) swimwear brands on the market and it totally fit true to size. My only critique of this swimsuit is that it didn’t offer quite as much support and sucking in as my beloved Miracle Suit, but at half the price, this INC Halter is pretty darn fab and I am going to rock it this summer!

I honestly enjoyed shopping for swimwear online and I was rather impressed with the quality and large selection of hip swimsuits that Macy’s offers. I am happy to report that shopping for a bathing suit from the comfort of my own home was actually fun and I’d do it again in a heartbeat!
