BW Radiance

One of the best perks of my job as a blogger/beauty editor is that I get to try the latest and greatest beauty treatments and vet the best of the best for my readers. Well, many of you have heard me rave about the impressive services at Burke Williams Day Spa in the past, and not surprisingly they have done it again (actually out done themselves in my opinion) with their new impressive, results-driven Radiance Facial

The Radiance Facial is a powerful anti-aging treatment that combines concentrated antioxidants and skin lightening agents with with cutting edge micro-current technology to target the signs of aging caused by sun damage. This next generation facial lifts and contours tissue by contracting facial muscles and infusing vitamin C deep into the layers of your skin, stimulating collagen production and cell turnover.

Let me walk you through the steps of this amazing facial, in order to give you a better understanding of why this 80-minute treatment leaves your skin visibly more even, brighter, smoother and firmer.

  • Step 1 – The first active step of this anti-aging facial is the Eminence Arctic Berry Pro Peel which infuses your skin with antioxidants that assist with anti-aging and inflammation reduction. The peel contains Azelaic Acid which inhibits pigment production, as well as Lactic Acid which gently smoothes and hydrates the surface of your skin by stimulating collagen production.

This peel was my FAVORITE part of the facial because I have never felt anything quite like it. After the peel is put on your face, a brightening bicarbonate is then applied which activates the peel product on your skin and it kind of foams up and feels kind of amazing, like something major is happening. This potent combo of acids and bicarbonate visibly illuminates your skin’s appearance. Very cool!

  • Step 2 – The skin is then treated with a Bright Skin Masque which contains natural ingredients including African potato, Tara tree, licorice root, bearberry extract and stone crop. All of these concentrates combine to create a potent brightening treatment that prevents and lightens pigmentation. It seemed soooo yummy!
  • Step 3 – The last active part of this facial is a face lifting micro-current treatment with the NuFACE PRO. First, a highly concentrated combo of H2V illuminating vitamin C serum and a hydrating gel are applied to your skin and then the micro-current device is used to help the vitamin c penetrate more deeply into your skin while stimulating collagen production and energizing facial muscles. This combo results in a noticeable, improved and lifted appearance of your face. Here’s what my skin looked like hours after my facial without any make-up, notice the glow and lift? LOVE

BW Radiance After

Overall, I was kinda ‘wowed’ by the Radiance Facial as well as by the very skilled and seasoned aesthetician who did it. This is a very sensory active facial, that you can feel working and this beauty junkie loved that! And the combo of H2V, Eminence and NuFace products are a very potent trio that work synergistically together to deliver visible results. My skin was radiant for days afterwards!

The Radiance Facial is perfect for people with pigmented, mature, dehydrated, acne prone or lackluster skin that needs rejuvenating. The service also incorporates a divine head, shoulder and foot massage and a yummy warm paraffin hand treatment – the icing on the cake! This innovative 80-minute facial is available at all Burke Williams spa locations, it runs 80 minutes long and is priced between $189-$215.
