What Does Real Beauty Look Like? Neutrogena’s Fab #SeeWhatsPossible Campaign Debuts During the 88th Academy Awards

As many of you know, I have been a Blogger Brand Ambassador for Neturogena for several years and the reason that I have chosen to align with this wonderful brand is three-fold: First, it’s an iconic brand that I have grown up with and it holds a special place in my heart as the first active skincare line that I ever used; Second, they make a fabulous array of affordable effective beauty and skincare products that are accessible to all; and lastly, they are brand that is all about empowering women and offering them content and products that help enhance their lives and make them feel better about themselves.

Case in point: Neutrogena has just launched an exciting new See What’s Possible campaign that will make its broadcast debut during the 88th Academy Awards this Sunday Feb. 28, 2016 (7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT on ABC). Through thousands of hours meeting with women around the world, Neutrogena uncovered a universal truth – That women are stepping back to examine what’s really possible in their lives so that they can pursue their dreams. This empowering video brings to life the brand’s point of view on beauty – what really makes a woman beautiful is the ability to look in the mirror and know that anything is possible! Here’s a sneak peek:


This video is the first one in the brand’s global digital video series, upcoming videos will feature Neutrogena Brand Ambassadors Kerry Washington, Jennifer Garner and Julie Bowen, and beauty vloggers from seven countries sharing their words of encouragement about beauty, pursing your dreams and what it takes to See What’s Possible. In addition, the brand has forged a partnership with the
Girls Inc. organization whose mission is to inspire all girls to be strong, smart, and bold.

This campaign is also incredibly timely for me personally because I just embarked on a journey to finally get on a health and wellness path that works for me and helps me let go of my life long struggles to lose weight. Diet after diet have not worked for me in the long run, so three months ago I began working with a fabulous Holistic Nutritionist who has given me amazing tools, tips, supplements, suggestions and encouragement that have inspired and motivated me to stay on this path for a life time. The difference this time around is that instead of my eating habits being about elimination and deprivation (which subsequently has led to sabotage for me), my wellness muse has helped me reframe my habits and focus on finding beautiful foods that amuse my palate and nourish my soul.

After three months, not only have I lost ten pounds and inches, but I finally feel like I have broken the barrier of being overweight my whole life and now I am all about health and wellness. This paradigm shift has helped me #SeeWhatsPossible = A Healthy, Strong, Curvy & Radiant Romy!

Women can also join the conversations by sharing their own personal stories and words of encouragement to empower other women across social media by using the hashtag #SeeWhatsPossible
