Winter Greetings my Beauties! I have some exciting news to share with you. I was recently accepted to Glam Media’s Beauty Board, which means that I am one of a group of specially selected Glam Publisher’s who was chosen to share exciting new seasonal products with you. First up is the Winter Edition of products for the Glam Beauty Board and this collection is filled with a wonderful assortment of beauty products that will take you through the winter season and holiday festivities. Nice, right? Now, I am going to tell you a bit more about many of these products and share my thoughts on each.
Philosophy Full of Promise Dual-Action Restoring Cream for Volume & Lift
This cream has a unique protein recycling complex that helps promote visibly firmer, fuller, uplifted skin. It rejuvenates your skin, supports natural collagen and elastin and it restores the texture of your skin. My skin drank up this instantly absorbing cream and it left my face smooth, plump and supple for hours. I definitely noticed my skin looking tighter and more lifted, and I’d describe it as a youth booster for your face.
Philosophy Living Grace Perfume
I’ve always adored Philosophy’s thoughtful messaging and the idea of living in grace really resonates with me. This fresh and clean scent is totally up my alley with the notes of Fresh Neroli, Lily of the Valley and Warm Musk. I love putting this on in the morning to awaken my senses and like how it helps me smell fresh throughout the day. This is a refreshing winter scent that lasts in a good way.
Almay Intense i-Color Liquid Shadow + Color Primer 
I am totally loving this exciting new eye makeup product from Almay. This inspired product is an eyeshadow (that you select based on your eye color) that doubles as a primer giving you two looks for the price of one! You can wear it alone for a splash of color or as a primer for other shadows. I got the color for green eyes which is a champagne beige with hints of gold sparkle and am obsessed with it! It gives a gorgeous wash of shimmer and I am totally using it to create my holiday eye looks.
Almay Smart Shade Mousse Makeup
This is another inspired creation from Almay’s Smart Shade collection and it is so new, I couldn’t even link it online yet (keep your eyes open at your local mass retailer.) This product kinda ‘wowed’ me because it’s an innovative whiteish pink whipped mousse makeup that instantly adapts to your skin tone and transforms into your ideal foundation shade, super cool! It’s provides a lovely sheer coverage that makes your skin look smooth and even. Love!
Burt’s Bees Ultimate Care Hand Cream
Burt’s Bees is a drugstore brand with a cult following and the best part is that you can find it almost everywhere. This all day hand cream contains Baobab and Pumpkin Seed Oil to help moisturize, Watermelon Seed Oil to nourish and a natural Fruit Acid Complex to gently exfoliate. I like the fresh scent and how it coats your hands with a silky layer of moisture that immediately softens your skin and lasts!
China Glaze Pizzazz Nail Polish
Doesn’t Pizzazz totally make you think of holiday season and all the sparkle and shimmer that goes with it? This fabulous multi-colored, mixed-shape glitter is so fun and festive and will totally punch up your holiday nail looks. I love it over black or red nail polish.
Goldfaden MD Pure Start Gentle Detoxifying Facial Cleanser
I was recently introduced to Dr. Goldfaden’s wonderful product line, which is one of the first dermatologist developed natural skincare brands. The cleanser is the first product that I have tried from the line and it’s a multi-tasking hypo-allergenic, pH-balanced cleanser that dissolves impurities and removes dead skin cells and makeup in one step. This fab cleanser is a light frothy gel that smells fresh, totally removes makeup and dirt and leaves my skin soft and fresh. This is totally up my alley!
Susan Posnick ColorEssential Moisturizing Lipstick in Santa Fe
This is a highly moisturizing, natural lipstick that adapts to your own lipcolor which ensures that it complements your skin tone. This wonderful formula contains nourishing oils, minerals and antioxidants to treat and pamper your lips. Santa Fe is a rich beautiful warm coppery shade with golden undertones, and I think it compliments my holiday smokey eye look perfectly. Love the innovative magnetic closure too!
Umberto Beverly Hills Repair Treatment Masque
I’m loving this trend of bringing prestige beauty products to the mass market and Umberto Beverly Hills is a wonderful example of this transition. This hair treatment masque is a rich deep conditioner that renews and strengthens damaged hair with marine derived amino acids and botanical proteins. This yummy masque hydrates and heals your hair and leaves it shiny and rejuvenated without a Beverly Hills price tag! And it has really helped resuscitate my hair post extensions.
