This show centers around Tina’s inspiring story about a woman who broke barriers and became the Queen of Rock n’ Roll! Set to the pulse-pounding soundtrack of her most beloved hits, this show takes you on a fabulous journey, giving you glimpses of the obstacles she overcame in order to become a 12 time Grammy Award winning performer and one of the world’s most beloved and best-selling musical artists of our time!
Who’s in the show
The North American Tour cast of Tina ~ The Tina Turner Musical is led by Naomi Rodgers (Frozen) and Zurin Villanueva (The Lion King, Mean Girls, Shuffle Along, The Book of Mormon) who will each portray Tina for four out of eight physically demanding performances a week.
Naomi Rodgers portrayed Tina at the opening night performance and she was OUTSTANDING! From her having the same body type and amazing notorious legs just like Tina Turner, to her signature moves and powerful rock voice, there were moments during the show that I thought the real Tina Turner had come back to life, she was THAT good!
